Function buttons allow you to use a headset or speakerphone, plus features such as mute and volume settings.
After you've connected your headset to your phone, you’re ready to make or receive calls using it. If you primarily use your headset, you can turn on headset memory so your headset is automatically turned on when you make or answer calls.
To use the headset button:
All phones have speaker capabilities. If you start a call using the handset, you can move to the headset or speakerphone by pressing the Headset or Speakerphone button, then return the handset to the cradle. To move a call from your speakerphone to your handset, simply lift the handset.
To use the speakerphone button:
Microphones are very sensitive, We recommend you mute your phone while on a conference call or if you need to speak to others around you. When you mute your phone, you continue to hear people on the call, but they will not hear you.
To use the mute button:
Adjust volume levels by pressing the + or – on the volume control. When you increase or decrease the volume, it remains at that setting until you change it again (or until your phone reboots). If your phone reboots, all volume settings return to their default levels. Use the volume control button (located below the keypad) to control volume levels for the following:
