Deleting a contact (VVX 3xx/4xx series)

If you no longer need a contact in your directory, you can delete it to make scrolling through your contacts easier. You can also edit a contact rather than deleting it and add a new one.

Note: Your phone won't ask you to confirm that you want to delete a contact.

To delete a contact:

  1. Press the Home button.
  1. Use the right navigation key to highlight Directories, then press the Select button (in the center of the navigation keys).
  1. With Contact Directory highlighted, press the Select soft key.
  1. Use the up and down navigation keys to select and highlight the contact you want to delete.
  1. With the contact highlighted, press the Info soft key.
  1. Press the Delete soft key (you may need to press the More soft key to get to the Delete soft key).
  1. When prompted, press the Yes soft key to confirm you want to delete the contact. (Press the No soft key if you decide not to delete your contact.)
