Deploying a Palo Alto firewall on Edge Gateway

Lumen® Edge Gateway enables you to deploy and use a Palo Alto firewall:

Service ports on the Edge Gateway device (Lanner 1515 series).
Service ports on the Edge Gateway device (Lanner 4025 series).

This application is the firewall component of the service chain.

To deploy a Palo Alto firewall on Edge Gateway:

  1. Set up your Edge Gateway device according to the following configuration:

FW Outside Ethernet1/2
FW Inside (LAN) Ethernet1/1
FW Mgmt Ethernet1/3
HA Ethernet1/4
LEG port 8 Ethernet1/5
