Deploying FortiGate Next-Generation Firewall on Edge Gateway

Lumen® Edge Gateway enables you to deploy and use FortiGate Next‑Generation (NGFW):

Service ports on the Edge Gateway device (Lanner 1515 series).
Service ports on the Edge Gateway device (Lanner 4025 series).

This application is the firewall component of the service chain.

To deploy FortiGate as Firewall NGFW:

  1. Set up your Edge Gateway device according to the following configuration:
Edge Gateway logical port FortiGate interface
FW Outside Port 2
FW Inside Port 1
FW Mgmt mgmt
HA Port 3
LEG port 8 Port 4
