Removing Defender from Internet On‑Demand

You can use NaaS Manager to remove Lumen Defender℠ powered by Black Lotus Labs® from an Internet On‑Demand service. Removing Lumen Defender℠ removes protection from the service and any threat data. Download any threat data you want to keep before removing the service. Adding it back later may include an additional one‑time charge.

You can also update the service's bandwidth. If the connection is no longer needed, you can disconnect Internet On‑Demand. 

To remove Defender: 

  1. Click Services.

    Control Center shows the Services console. Use the console to access an inventory of your services, check the status of orders, and manage your services.

  1. In the Service Managers box, click Network-as-a-Service (NaaS).

  1. Click the Services tab.

  1. Click the Internet tab. 

    NaaS Manager lists your Internet On‑Demand connections with a status and a brief summary for each connection (name, status, bandwidth, and location). 
  1. Click the  icon in the Actions column next to the service you want to remove Defender from, then click Manage Service.

  1. Select Remove Defender from the action menu. 

    NaaS Manager warns that the service will be unprotected and adding it again may incur a one‑time charge.
  1. Click CONTINUE. 
  1. Review the removal request, confirm the billing message, then click CONFIRM REMOVAL.
