Chris Capossela is a senior executive in the technology industry with more than 30 years of experience working at Microsoft. He spent the last ten years of his career at Microsoft as the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In that role, he led worldwide marketing across both the consumer and commercial businesses – including product marketing, business planning, brand, advertising, events, media buying, communications and market research, as well as digital direct sales and retail partner sales for all Microsoft products.

His roles at Microsoft included Program Manager, Microsoft Access; Speech Assistant to Bill Gates; Director, Business Operations in EMEA; General Manager, Microsoft Project; Corporate Vice President, Office Marketing; before becoming Chief Marketing Officer.

Capossela graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in economics. He currently serves as a member of corporate and non‑profit boards with a focus on innovation and community growth.
